1968 - 1991 (Property Management)
While growing up in the Brightwood subdivision of NW Washington, DC, Uniqca was trained in property management from her youth on. While growing up in a 10 bedroom home which was rented out for the first 23 years of her life, we guess, you can say that Uniqca was born with a real estate spoon in her mouth. Uniqca truly has experienced a lifetime of real estate.
1993 - 2003 (Loan Closing Delivery Coordinator / Loan Processor)
For ten (10) years, Uniqca worked in the Underwriting and, then, the Closing Department for Berkshire Mortgage Finance, L.P. She processed millions of dollars of loans for Multifamily, Commercial, and Healthcare Facilities. Types of loans included: assumptions, refinance, purchase, construction to permanent, etc. Investors included: Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, and at that time, NationsBank.
2001 to Present (Real Estate Investor)
Uniqca and her husband started Farmers Home Improvements in October 2001. Their Development / Renovation Consultant Departments work hard to revitalize the community by purchasing and renovating homes which are in distress. This allows them to sell affordable housing to prospective buyers throughout DC. They also educate homeowners who are in default with their mortgage and provide tips to SAVE THEIR HOME. Later, in 2012, Uniqca and her husband changed the name of the Company to Farmershi Consultant. At such time, they also incorporated the Property Management Department to their company.
2002 to Present (Professional Listing (Seller) and Buyer Agent)
